A simpler model

Care without the middleman.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based relationship with your physician. You pay a predictable fee for defined primary care services rather than billing insurance for each routine visit.

Time to listen

Appointments designed around clinical needs rather than maximizing daily visit volume.

Predictable fees

Know your membership cost in advance, with separate fees disclosed for services outside membership.

Continuity of care

Build an ongoing relationship with a physician who understands your history and priorities.

Understanding the economics

What Americans spend on coverage

Employer-sponsored insurance is expensive, even when your employer pays most of the premium. KFF's 2025 Employer Health Benefits Survey reported average total annual premiums of about $9,325 for single coverage and $26,993 for family coverage . These are employer-plus-worker totals—not what the typical employee personally pays. The average worker share was approximately $1,440 single / $6,850 family annually. The average single deductible among covered workers with a deductible was approximately $1,886 . Deductibles, copays, coinsurance and premiums vary widely by plan.

Expense Employer plan: illustrative family DPC + separate insurance
Annual premium $6,850 employee share (2025 national average) Depends on the actual plan you select; frequently significantly lower
Primary care membership Typically none Example: $100/month per adult = $1,200/year per adult
Office visit charges Copays or deductible/coinsurance may apply Covered primary care services included as defined in your membership agreement
Hospital, ER, specialists Subject to plan terms, often network-limited Not covered by DPC; use separate insurance or pay directly, often with negotiated cash-rates
Labs, imaging, prescriptions Subject to benefits and cost-sharing Separately negotiated discounted cash pricing, directly benefiting you

The $100/month DPC figure is a hypothetical illustration, NOT an Aurevia price; See our pricing page for most up-to-date packages. The premium averages describe employer coverage and should not be used as quotes for individual-market plans.

Where savings may happen

Better value is more than just a lower bill, it means your personal physician.

DPC often reduces routine office visit fees, simplifies access and offers transparent cash pricing for selected tests or medications. For many patients, pairing DPC with an appropriate lower-premium health plan will reduce overall spending.

Compare your total annual cost : insurance premiums + DPC fees + expected out-of-pocket expenses + worst-case financial exposure. The best choice depends on your household, health needs and eligibility.

Personal care, thoughtfully delivered.

Our goal is not to replace every part of the healthcare system. It's to restore the one part that should never feel impersonal: your relationship with your doctor.
